6th place-Trevor Pinkney
Trevor Pinkney had the only entry in the top 15 without
Fournette. Pinkney’s only player from Tampa Bay was kicker Ryan
Succop. Succop’s 41 fantasy points were the most by a kicker
since 2007, when Adam Vinatieri was Pool MVP. Every player on
Pinkney’s roster had at least 17 fantasy points.
PINKNEY had Baker Mayfield at QB. Mayfield threw for 467
yards with 4 TD passes and 1 interception. Mayfield was stacked
with teammate Jarvis Landry, who had 12 catches for 122 yards
and 2 touchdowns. PINKNEY had the Cleveland defense, which
had 5 interceptions and forced two fumbles, and Cleveland RB
Chubb (31-145/6-73 with a TD). PINKNEY had the Hill/Kelce
combo and running back Darrel Williams. Williams had 28 carries
for 135 yards and 7 catches for 35 yards and scored one TD.
Williams’ role increased with rookie Edwards-Helaire nursing
injury. This is similar to Fournette’s fortunes in Tampa Bay as
Fournette’s role increased with Ronald Jones injury. Williams
unfortunately for PINKNEY did not have the success that ‘Playoff
Lenny’ had. If PINKNEY took Fournette instead of Williams, he
would’ve won the Pool by 12 fantasy points

GEOGHAN has the top Patrick Mahomes entry. Mahomes
threw for 850 yards with 4 TD passes and 2 interceptions.
Mahomes also ran for 47 yards with a TD. GEOGHAN had the
most productive running backs from each Super Bowl team;
Leonard Fournette and Darrel Williams. Both were projected as
backups for the playoffs, but played starting roles due to injuries.
Fournette and Williams combined for 95 fantasy points.
GEOGHAN nailed the top TE Kelce and top kicker Succop and his
team cumulated the most points during the Conference
Championships. Geoghan’s weakness was only 29 fantasy points
from his receiving corps that featured ex-Cowboys Beasley and
Dez Bryant.

The roster of AMMGRM2021 was similar to GEOGHAN with
Mahomes (QB), Fournette (RB), Kelce (TE) and Succop (K).
AMMGRM2021 was stronger at wide receiver though with Godwin
(16-232-1) and Robert Woods (12-96-1). AMMGRM2021 had the
wrong KC running back investment as opposed to GEOGHAN with
LeVeon Bell (0 points).
