Tom Brady threw for 1,061 yards with 10 TDs and 3 interceptions. Brady also rushed for a TD. Brady is the pool MVP for the second time and Super Bowl MVP for a 5th time. Leonard Fournette scored in all four Tampa Bay games. Fournette carried the ball 64x for 300 yards and caught 18 balls for 148 yards. Travis Kelce caught 31 balls for 360 yards and 3 scores. Kelce outscored all other tight ends by 30 fantasy points and is the highest scoring tight end in Pool history. These three players were key to have in the 2021 Fantasy Playoff Pool. All three were tops at their position in scoring and all three helped PRIMETIME to a Pool victory.
PRIMETIME squeezed both high-priced TE Travis Kelce ($8) and high-priced WR Tyreek Hill ($9) onto his roster. Hill caught 24 balls for 355 yards and was the second highest scoring wide receiver in the pool. Hill never found the end zone, but PRIMETIME’s other wide outs each found the end zone twice; Antonio Brown (8-81-2) and Tre’Quan Smith (3-85-2). Smith was a $3 bargain due to his injury status, but Smith returned from ankle surgery in the division round and had the two scores. Brown (knee) missed the Conference Championship, but returned to score a TD in the Super Bowl. Brown’s touchdown is what moved PRIMETIME into second place going into halftime of SB LV.
PRIMETIME still trailed by 24 fantasy points at the half in SB LV, but grabbed the lead with 2:37 remaining in the game on a catch by Travis Kelce. The Tampa defense helped PRIMETIME catch the pool leaders. In the 4th quarter of SB LV, the Tampa defense had an interception, 2 sacks and 2 fourth-down stops. Overall in the Pool, Tampa was the top scoring defense; Tampa had 7 interceptions, forced two fumbles and had 10 sacks.
