FIORINO-2nd place
FIORINO had only Brady and Fournette in common with the
champions.  It was the only entry in the top 8 without Travis Kelce
and there were no players from Kansas City on the roster.
FIORINO got at least 10 fantasy points from every player on his
roster.  Every skill player and the defense found the end zone at
least once.
Nick Chubb had 218 scrimmage yards and a TD.  Fournette
and Chubb had a combined 100 fantasy points from the running
back position for FIORINO.  FIORINO had the top wide receiver,
Buffalo’s Stefon Diggs.  Diggs had 20 receptions for 311 yards and
2 scores.  The other wide receivers were Chris Godwin and
Rashard Higgins.  Godwin was the cheapest receiver to reach 30
fantasy points.  Godwin had 16 catches for 232 yards and a score.
Higgins caught 7 balls for 116 yards and a touchdown.  The tight
end was Austin Hooper, who had 9 receptions for 62 yards and a
score.
FIORINO had Buffalo’s kicker and defense.  Rookie Tyler Bass
kicked 7 field goals and three of them were from 50+ yards.  The
Bills’ defense had 5 sacks and a pick six.
FIORINO ruled the pool for 2 weeks and most of the Super
Bowl.  With 2:37 remaining in SB LV they were passed up.  Godwin
was FIORINO’s critical player in the Super Bowl to hold off the
competition and he came up with a goose egg.  Also, Higgins was
inches shy of the goal line before losing a fumble in the divisional
round.

GONZO's GANG-3rd place
GONZO’S GANG was the top team without Tom Brady.
GONZO’s QB was Josh Allen, who threw for 877 yards with 5 TD
passes and one interception.  Allen also ran for 145 yards and a
score.  GONZO stacked Allen with his teammates; Stefon Diggs,
the pool’s top WR, and Cole Beasley (14 catches for 145 yards).
Beasley is on each of the entries that placed 3rd through 7th in the
pool.  GONZO also had the Bills’ defense.
GONZO had two of the big three with Fournette (RB) and
Kelce (TE) on his roster.  His only other player in SB LV was Scott
Miller.  Miller, whose big play of the playoffs was a 39-yard TD
catch right before half time of the NFC Championship, did not
score a fantasy point in SB LV.  GONZO entered the Super Bowl in
second place and was knocked back into third place on Antonio
Brown’s TD catch right at the end of the first half.

CHARLES BROWN-4th place
CHARLES BROWN had five key players in common with
FIORINO; Brady, Fournette, Godwin, Bass and the Buffalo
defense.  Charles also had the guy
FIORINO didn’t have, TE Travis
Kelce.  But, that wasn’t enough to overcome LeVeon Bell and
Sammy Watkins combining for only 1 fantasy point in the
playoffs.  Watkins did not return from injury until SB LV and had
only one catch for 13 yards.  Charles was in 6th place entering SB
LV and appeared to be in position to crack the top three, but only
one combined fantasy point from Godwin, Watkins and Bell in the
game cost them.  CHARLES BROWN moved into the top 5 on Tom
Brady’s 2nd TD pass with 6:11 remaining in the second quarter.
ANTHONY ZUZZIO-5th place
ZUZZIO was the only top 5 finisher that had not reached the top
5 before half time of the big game.  A 21-yard catch by Tyreek Hill
with 1:13 remaining in the third quarter moved ZUZZIO into the
top five.  ZUZZIO’s roster was very similar to PRIMETIME with both
the Brady/Fournette combo and Kelce/Hill combo.  ZUZZIO also
had the same kicker (Blankenship) as PRIMETIME.  ZUZZO shared
third-place GONZO’s low-end WR combo of Cole Beasley and
Scott Miller.  The biggest disappointment for ZUZZIO was Taysom
Hill.  The Saints’ ‘swiss army knife’ had no fantasy points.  He did
not play in the divisional round due to a knee injury.
