POOL RECAP:
Larry Fitzgerald caught 3 TD passes in the NFC Championship. He
also has an NFL record 419 receiving yards this post season. Kurt
Warner threw 4 TD passes in the NFC Championship, giving him a total
of 8 for the playoffs. The winner will come down to 1 of the 28 entries
that have both Warner and Fitzgerald on their roster. Currently, each of
the top 8 entries has both Warner and Fitzgerald.
Pescatore held off MORTY to win the Pool for a second
consecutive week. For Pescatore, Arizona rookie RB Tim Hightower
found the end zone for the third consecutive week. Hightower
outscored Morty’s Brian Westbrook/Jerheme Urban combo 9-6 in week
3. Westbrook, who scored 4 touchdowns against Arizona in the regular
season, failed to find the end zone against them in the NFC
Championship. MORTY, with Westbrook totaling only 118 total yards, a
lost fumble and no TDs over the past two weeks, has now fallen into
third place behind James512.
James Yu (James512) was propelled into second place with 148.5
fantasy points in week 3, the most by any entry. Yu got 122 receiving
yards from $4 WR- Kevin Curtis and 83 receiving yards and 2
touchdowns from $3 TE Brent Celek. James Yu was propelled into
second place with Troy Polamalu’s interception returned for a TD for
the Steelers’ defense in the 4th quarter of the AFC Championship.
James512 seems like the only entry with a realistic shot at overtaking
Pescatore in the Super Bowl.
