It was an amazing Super Bowl. You never know who is going to come up big for the Patriots and in Super Bowl LI it was James White. White had three TDs and a 2-point conversion. He caught a SB-record 14 balls for 110 yards. He helped propel Frank Fiorino to the Pool Championship.
Fiorino was still more than 10 fantasy points behind in the last 6 minutes. When White scored with :57 seconds left, Fiorino was less than 1 fantasy point behind. Fiorino took the lead on White's first catch of OT, but later lost the lead back to TFS with an Edelman catch. One play later, Fiorino was back in front for good on a 10-yard James White run.
Snyder (TFS) won week 3 and led the throughout all 4 quarters of the Super Bowl. TFS surrendered the lead in overtime.
Schafler finsihes third. Schafler cracked the top 5 on Atlanta's pick-six. He rode James White the rest of the way and moved up to third.
SAL GRANITE FALLS finishes 4th place. After the Freeman TD, SAL was within 2 points of the lead in second place. SAL was two fantasy points behind the leader into halftime. SAL GRANITE FALLS was in 2nd place when White's last-minute TD knocked him backwards into 4th place.
RIPPER finishes in 5th place. RIPPER entered the Super Bowl ranked 61st. RIPPER is the top finisher with Brady. Brady threw for a SB-record 466 yards. Brady's TD pass with 5:56 remaining put RIPPER into the top 10. RIPPER jumped from 7th to 5th on White's game-ending TD run.
TOP 1% FINISHERS: 6th Place: Tyler Iocco, who also had Brady at QB, entered SB51 in 4th place, but faded slightly as James White got all the action over his man Dion Lewis.
7th place: LES CREW, entered SB51 in second place. LES CREW held onto a top-5 spot until the last play of regulation.
8th pace: HURRICANE IRA entered the Super Bowl in 105th place, but made up ground with White's 3 TDs and a Coleman TD. IRA cracked the top 10 mid-fourth quarter. IRA got into money position in OT on a Hogan catch.
