2016 WILD CARD
ROUND
STEVE SCHAFLER entered 2016 with the third most entries in the Fantasy Playoff Pool over
the previous 5 years.  This week he takes home his first victory.  It was a full team effort as
SCHAFLER got at least 12 points from each of his roster positions.  Aaron Rodgers threw for
210 yards and 2 touchdowns and led the SCHAFLER team with 17 fantasy points.  Every other
skill position player on the roster chipped in with either 100 yards or a TD.
The touchdowns were scored by James Starks, Randall Cobb and Martavius Bryant, while  TE
Travis Kelce (8-128) and WR Antonio Brown (7-119) had very productive receiving days.  RB
Felix Toussaint gained 118 yards from scrimmage as well.  The complete team effort included
kicker Cairo Santos, who kicked 3 Field Goals, and the Chiefs' defense, who caused 5 turnovers,
tallied three sacks and did not allow their opponents in the end zone.
SCHAFLER was one of only 13 entries to score at least 100 fantasy points in the opening
week.  Only the
GDQ Pocket Rockets were within 10 points of SCHAFLER.  SCHAFLER will be a
threat going forward since all of his players are still alive going into the Division Round as well.
His high-priced wide receiver, Antonio Brown, will have to clear concussion protocol though if
he is to play next week.
The #6 seeds in the NFL Playoffs, Seattle and Pittsburgh, were both Wild Card favorites on the
road.  They garnered the most selections of any two teams in the pool.  Both teams were all
but done, but somehow miraculously survived to continue on.
Below are the Fantasy Playoff Pool's most selected.  Everyone who garnered at least 60
selections.
