WEEK THREE UPDATE

Courtney Cusick narrowly takes over the lead in Fantasy Playoff Pool 13 and thus
is the Week 3 winner.  CUSICK had the best division round week with 123.4 fantasy
points.  CUSICK had the whole roster still playing in the Championship Round, but
mustered up only 69 fantasy points.  Nevertheless, it was enough to win Week 3.
The top three scoring positions on the team are: QB-Aaron Rodgers, who has
thrown for 790 yards and 6 touchdowns and ran for two touchdowns, RB-Rashard
Mendenhall, who has 167 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns, and the Green Bay
defense, which has 2 touchdowns, 6 interceptions and 10 sacks.  Rodgers,
Mendenhall and the Green Bay Defense all found the end zone in Championship
week.  Cusick now has $1205 in winnings for the year (17.5% of pot) and probably
sits as the favorite to win it all with 7 roster spots going in the Super Bowl.

Last year's Week 3 winner, the Danbils, were actually tied with CourtneyCusick
entering the week.  The Danbils also had its entire roster playing, but managed
only 51 fantasy points in the Championship week.  The Danbils got scores from
wide receiver Santonio Holmes, Rodgers and the Packers' defense.  The remaining
6 rosters spots of Shonn Greene, John Kuhn, Mike Wallace, Donald Driver, Heath
Miller and Nick Folk combined for only 13 points.

Jets' running back Tomlinson and Greene had combined for 52 points over the first
two playoff weeks. 3 of the top 11 teams entering this week had the duo as their
running backs. Well, Tomlinson and Greene had a disappointing 6 combined
fantasy points in Championship week.  This frustrated entries like Terranova's
Softy 3 team, who finishes in second (two points behind).  Softy 3 got only 11
combined fantasy points from three Jets: L.T., Shonn Greene and Braylon
Edwards.  Another entry, Joe Gulotta had the L.T./Shonn Greene duo at running
back, but their receiving corps of James Jones, Hines Ward and Donald Driver did
even worse, as the trio combined for only 2 fantasy points.  Gulotta sits in fifth
overall.
