POOL RECAP: AIC had a full active roster in the Championship weekend with a combo
Charger/Giant team and got 59 fantasy points to take the fantasy playoff pool lead.
AIC got 154 yards receiving from Plaxico Burress (WR) and 93 yards from Vincent
Jackson (WR). Ahmad Bradshaw, a $3 running back, added a TD. AIC was able to
overcome injuries to L.T. ($11) and Antonio Gates ($6). L.T. and Gates combined for
only 1 fantasy point for the week.
Mike Cocchiola’s GFY#4, who entered the week in second place after having a division-
round-best 122 fantasy points, managed only 39 points in week 3 with 6 players active
and finished 2 points behind AIC. For GFY#4, Ryan Grant (RB), Amani Toomer (WR) and
Greg Jennings (WR) combined for only 7 fantasy points in week 3 after they had
combined for 75 in the Division Round.
The top 6 teams were separated by only 5½ points.
